About
"A superhero premise let down by its execution"
This Marvel spin-off follows the royal family of a hidden society of superpowered Inhumans, forced to flee their moon city after a coup and hide among ordinary humans. It centers on a king who communicates through devastating sound instead of speech, and the family and allies protecting him. The pace is slow, the stakes feel small, and the visual effects rarely convince, especially a giant teleporting dog meant to be a marvel. It plays more like an earnest but underfunded pilot stretched thin than a fully realized superhero saga.
the novelty of a lead character who can only speak through destructive sound.
you expect polished effects or a briskly paced, satisfying superhero story.
