About
"A cold case that outlives its own decade"
A detective chasing a serial killer in 1986 stumbles through a mysterious tunnel and emerges in 2017, decades removed from everyone he knew. Forced to partner with a modern profiler, he must solve his own unsolved case using instincts sharpened by a different era of policing. The show blends noir-tinged crime procedural with a wistful fish-out-of-water drama, mining real pathos from generational gaps and unfinished grief. It moves briskly, stays grounded despite its fantasy hook, and lets its leads' chemistry and moral seriousness carry what could have been a gimmicky premise into something genuinely affecting.
the way a decades-old murder investigation reframes itself through one detective's displaced eyes.
you need airtight time-travel logic rather than atmosphere and character to carry the mystery.
