About
"Time-travel romance where swordplay outshines the medicine"
A modern-day plastic surgeon is yanked through a mysterious time portal into medieval Korea, where she's forced to treat a mortally wounded royal bodyguard and gets pulled into a kingdom's political turmoil. What follows mixes fish-out-of-water fantasy with historical intrigue and a slow-burn romance between the doctor and her stoic protector. The pacing sags in the middle stretch of court scheming, but the leads' chemistry and the novelty of the premise keep things moving. This is swords-and-melodrama fantasy dressed as history, not a medical procedural, and it leans hard into romance over realism.
the slow-burn chemistry between the time-displaced doctor and her devoted warrior guard.
