About
"Brutality and brotherhood inside a postwar prison cell"
Set in postwar Japan, this series follows seven teenage boys locked together in cell six of a brutal juvenile reformatory, ruled over by a sadistic guard who terrorizes them physically and psychologically. What starts as survival under cruelty grows into a story of loyalty and quiet resistance among the inmates. The tone is unflinchingly grim and often hard to watch, but it's carried by genuine emotional weight, strong character writing, and a slow-burn sense of brotherhood forming under pressure. It's less about plot twists than endurance, dignity, and what people cling to when everything else is stripped away.
the raw, earned bond between seven boys who refuse to let cruelty break them.
you're sensitive to sustained depictions of institutional abuse and violence toward minors.
