About
"Ghost band chases stardom through a grieving girl's music"
After losing her mother, teenage Julie has stopped making music until three ghosts of a 1990s band suddenly appear in her garage, visible and audible only to her. Together they form a band, and the ghosts get a shot at the stardom that death cut short. It is bright, earnest, and unapologetically wholesome, built around catchy original songs and performance numbers rather than tension or stakes. The pace is breezy and episodes are short, making it an easy, feel-good watch that leans hard into charm, grief handled gently, and pop-rock spectacle.
the original songs and performance sequences, which are genuinely catchy and staged with real flair.
you need edge, conflict, or complex plotting rather than sincere, low-stakes musical comfort viewing.
