About
"A classic pirate tale reimagined with moral shades"
This two-part miniseries retells Robert Louis Stevenson's classic: young Jim Hawkins stumbles onto a map leading to buried treasure and joins a sea voyage crewed by the enigmatic, morally slippery Long John Silver. The story unfolds as a tense battle between greed, loyalty and survival aboard a ship where nothing is quite what it seems. Visually lush and deliberately paced, it leans on strong performances and atmosphere rather than nonstop action, making it feel more like a character study wrapped in an adventure than a swashbuckling romp.
the nuanced, morally ambiguous performance as Long John Silver anchors the whole story.
you want fast, action-driven pacing rather than a slower, character-focused mini-series.
