About
"Amnesia noir wrapped in a superpowered spy thriller"
A woman wakes up beside a river with no memory, surrounded by dead bodies wearing latex gloves, and a note warning her to trust no one. She soon learns she's a senior officer in a secret British agency that polices people with supernatural powers. Part spy thriller, part superhero mystery, the show trades on that central hook of self-discovery as she pieces together who she was and who wants her dead. It's glossy and moody rather than fast-paced, leaning on atmosphere and slow-burn intrigue more than action or humor.
the intriguing amnesiac-spy premise and Myfanwy's slow unraveling of her own hidden identity.
you want fast pacing or a satisfying complete arc, since the story ends abruptly after one season.
