About
"A survival game built on obsession and paranoia"
A lonely, friendless boy named Yukiteru gains a phone app that writes his future, only to learn he's been dragged into a deadly game against eleven other diary holders competing to become the new god of time and space. His self-appointed protector is a devoted classmate whose affection curdles into something far more unsettling. The show swings between gonzo violence, dark comedy, and genuine dread, powered by unpredictable rule-breaking twists and one of anime's most infamous obsessive love interests. It's messy and over-the-top, but rarely boring.
a genuinely unhinged, iconic depiction of obsessive devotion that reshaped how anime does yandere characters.
you need consistent plotting and dislike sudden tonal whiplash between comedy and brutal violence.
