About
"A grim, painterly throwback to Leone-style westerns"
Set in a lawless frontier town, this revisionist western follows a corrupt, self-serving sheriff and a stoic bounty hunter who collects severed heads in a leather bag for cash. Their uneasy orbit around each other, plus a widow with her own agenda, drives a slow-burning story about violence, guilt, and survival. The tone is grim and stylized, heavy on silence, wide vistas, and sudden brutality rather than quick action beats. It leans hard into spaghetti-western atmosphere, and its deliberate pacing rewards patience more than excitement.
the moody spaghetti-western atmosphere and Dominic Cooper's morally rotten sheriff.
you want fast plotting rather than slow, brooding, violence-soaked atmosphere.
