About
"A supervillain heist crew with real personality"
Based on Mark Millar's comic, this anime follows Johnny Bolt, a small-time supervillain whose powers never quite match his ambitions. After yet another job goes wrong, he assembles a crew of has-been and washed-up villains for one big score that could set them all up for life, if they can survive each other long enough to pull it off. It's a breezy heist-caper with superhero trappings, snappy pacing, colorful character designs, and a sense of humor about its own genre rather than dark antihero brooding.
the fun heist-crew dynamic between washed-up villains with mismatched powers and egos.
you want deep antihero drama instead of a light, fast-moving caper.
