About
"The soap opera that let witchcraft run the plot"
Set in the fictional town of Harmony, Passions follows a web of romances, feuds, and family secrets among its residents, but with a twist most soaps never attempt: an actual witch, a living doll, and increasingly surreal supernatural plots woven into the melodrama. Watching it feels like a daytime soap that gradually loses interest in realism and leans hard into camp, curses, and cliffhangers that defy logic. It's slow-burn in the way all soaps are, but its willingness to go completely unhinged makes it oddly compelling rather than dull.
the gleefully absurd supernatural twists that no other daytime soap dared attempt.
you want grounded, realistic drama rather than campy, illogical plotting.
