About
"A shaggy-dog mystery disguised as animal sitcom"
A taciturn walrus drives a taxi through Tokyo, half-listening to the odd confessions of his fares while a missing-girl case quietly tightens around everyone he picks up. The cast is entirely anthropomorphic animals, each species a sly shorthand for a personality type, but the show plays it dead straight rather than cute. What starts as loosely connected slice-of-life vignettes clicks into a tightly plotted crime mystery with real stakes. It is funny, melancholic, and unexpectedly suspenseful, carried by patient pacing and a script that rewards close attention to every seemingly throwaway detail.
the way loosely comic vignettes snap into a tightly engineered crime mystery.
you want immediate action rather than a slow-building, dialogue-driven puzzle.
