About
"Three grown men rehearsing for greatness, badly"
Three misfit astronauts live in a cramped Arizona simulation base, rehearsing for a moon mission that always feels perpetually out of reach. Created by and starring Fred Armisen, Tim Heidecker, and John C. Reilly, it's a low-key mockumentary-style comedy about ambition, boredom, and male ego in close quarters. The pace is slow and the jokes are dry and awkward rather than punchy, leaning on deadpan character work over plot. It feels more like hanging out with three sad, funny guys than watching a traditional sitcom, charming if you're patient, forgettable if you're not.
the deadpan chemistry between Armisen, Heidecker, and Reilly playing hapless would-be astronauts.
you want fast jokes or forward momentum rather than slow, character-driven awkwardness.
