About
"A restless woman before the Fitzgerald legend swallowed her"
This Amazon original traces the early life of Zelda Sayre before she became Zelda Fitzgerald, a restless Alabama debutante chafing against Southern propriety who falls for a young, ambitious writer named F. Scott Fitzgerald. It follows their courtship and the early days of their famously turbulent marriage against the glitter of the Jazz Age. The tone is lush and melancholic, driven by Christina Ricci's performance as a woman straining against the era's limits on women. It's a slow-burn character study more than a plot-driven drama, heavy on atmosphere and costume.
Christina Ricci's performance as a woman fighting to be seen as more than a muse.
you want fast plotting rather than a moody character study cut short after one season.
