About
"Grief as an excuse for reckless reinvention"
Three lifelong best friends are shaken when a close friend dies suddenly, and the shock pushes each of them to blow up the life she was quietly settling for. One ditches a comfortable career to become a butcher, one walks away from her marriage, and one impulsively re-enrolls in high school. It's a breezy single-camera network sitcom, heavy on quick jokes and mid-life-crisis absurdity, carried mostly by the easy chemistry of its three leads rather than any deep emotional reckoning with grief.
the easy, funny chemistry between the three lead actresses carrying otherwise thin material.
you want the death that kicks things off treated with real emotional weight.
