About
"A guys' trip that turns genuinely menacing"
Four old college friends fly to Belize to celebrate a fifth friend's early retirement in his lavish jungle villa, only to have the reunion curdle into something far darker within a day. What starts as boozy nostalgia and old resentments resurfacing quickly spirals into paranoia, violence, and moral compromise none of them are equipped for. The tone whiplashes between dark comedy and genuine dread, carried by a strong ensemble playing ordinary guys in increasingly over their heads. It's tense, uncomfortable, and often darkly funny rather than purely thrilling.
the ensemble cast's believable descent from awkward reunion banter into real panic and moral rot.
you want a straightforward thriller rather than one that keeps undercutting tension with dark comedy.
