About
"Two friends, two bikes, half the planet"
Actor Ewan McGregor and his friend Charley Boorman ride motorcycles from London to New York the long way, heading east through Europe, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Siberia before crossing into Alaska and Canada. The series follows their journey day by day with a small support crew, capturing breakdowns, border hassles, mud, and the people they meet along the way. It's loose and unpolished, more travelogue than adventure thriller, and the pleasure is in the camaraderie and the sheer scale of the terrain rather than tight storytelling or slick production.
the genuine friendship and unfiltered reactions to genuinely brutal, remote terrain.
you need polished production or fast-moving narrative structure rather than meandering travel footage.
