About
"Glossy teen guilt dressed up as horror"
A group of teens covers up a deadly car accident on a graduation night, only for someone to resurface a year later with knowledge of what really happened. This reboot trades slow-burn dread for glossy, fast-paced teen-drama energy, mixing whodunit mystery with soapy relationship drama and jump-scare kills. It leans hard into melodrama and twisty reveals rather than genuine tension, so it plays more like a CW-style thriller than a horror classic. Watching it feels breezy and disposable, good for background viewing rather than anything that lingers.
a fast, glossy teen mystery with soapy twists if you want mindless popcorn viewing.
you want genuine scares or tight plotting instead of melodrama.
